PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cathode-ray tube that is capable of achieving stable image display performance with respect to temperature changes. SOLUTION: A vertical deflection circuit element 15 comprises a pair of a first coil 8a and a second coil 8b, which are connected mutually in series, a first fixed resistor 22a of which one end is connected to the other end of the first coil 8a, a second fixed resistor 22b of which one end is connected to the other end of the second coil 8b, a variable resistor 30 which, when the other end of the first fixed resistor 22a is made a first terminal and the other end of the second fixed resistor 22b is made second terminal, and the connecting point of the first coil 8a and the second coil 8b is made a third terminal, is connected to these first to third terminals and of which moving contact is connected to the third terminal. When the temperature coefficient of electrical resistance of the first coil 8a and second coil 8b is made positive, the temperature coefficient of electrical resistance of the first fixed resistor 22a and second fixed resistor 22b becomes positive. |
