摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic manifold free of deterioration even in a hydrogen gas atmosphere and capable of lowering a gas permeation. SOLUTION: The manifold for SOFC is subjected to a surface treatment using ceramic sol, and a SOFC is formed using this manifold. The manufacture of this ceramic manifold for a solid electrolyte type fuel cell comprises such steps as manufacturing a dispersion liquid by adding a dispersion medium to a powder of castable fire-resistant material, pouring the dispersion liquid in a die having a specific shape for molding, heat treating the material upon taking out of the die, subjecting it to a surface treatment using ceramic sol, and a step to dry.
