PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ISDN terminal that can automatically realize processing for an incoming call arrived at the terminal, without the need for a user of the ISDN terminal to be conscious of whether a call is a telephone call or a facsimile reception call and enhances the convenience of the user. SOLUTION: The ISDN terminal connected to an ISDN line and executing a transmission reception operation to an opposite terminal is provided with a system control section 12, that acquires and analyzes a facility information element attached to a setup message from the ISDN line, acquires a port number notified from the facility information element and uses the port number to execute an incoming call discrimination processing of the ISDN terminal.
