PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily input characters into a wearable computer system. SOLUTION: In this wearable computer system, when a user inputs characters, the input characters are designated according to operation directions and operation amounts of a stick by operating the stick of a pointing device 3. Operation direction of the stick is divided evenly in eight directions, and operation amount is separated deep and shallow two stages. The input characters are designated by the combinations of single or plural operations of the stick. A desired character can be inputted easily by tilting the stick deeply or shallowly in one of directions of the isotropic eight directions once or repeating the operation plural numbers of times.
