The elevator platform (1) for handling objects is provided with two opposite work stations (2) which are raised and lowered together with the platform lifting device. The platform consists of two superposed load trays (101,102), the lower tray being stationary with the platform lifting device and the upper one able to move relative to the first in order to adjust the level of the upper tray relative to the workstation. The lifting device comprises a frame (3), integral with the lower tray, with an arm (4) pivoted on the frame by means of a pinion (5) meshing with an endless chain driven by an actuator (8).
