PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recorder which can make a quick response to a request from a user and can rapidly display a recorded image or an image to be recorded, in an image display section. SOLUTION: If a switch for fetching an image obtained by photographing a photogenic subject, for example, a shutter button SB, is operated by a user, the image data is stored in a dedicated area of a DRAM 14. Then, if there is a request from the user for checking the image using the image display section 13, it is checked whether the data recorded in the dedicated area of the DRAM 14 is effective or not. If it is determined effective, the data on the DRAM 14 is displayed in the image display section 13, when a decoding process is not executed. |
