PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a password system in which an encipherment is not used and a burden is not applied to a user. SOLUTION: In the password system, a password is certificated when the user logs in a server, i.e., a remote computer from a client, i.e., a local computer utilized as a terminal by the user through a network. The password system is provided with a means for which the user previously registers a plurality of one time passwords on a data base of the server; a means for deleting the registered password from the data base registration of the server when the user logs in the server from the client using one of the registered one time passwords and the server permits the log-in in the case where the server confirms a coincidence of the log-in password with the registered password. |
