BATTERY INSPECTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for precisely detecting an internal short circuit of a battery. SOLUTION: The battery after completion is discharged by two-stage constant currents of a first discharge current Ia and a second discharge current Ib, and voltage change at the time, that is difference between a first discharge voltage and a second discharge voltage, is determined as an internal resistance component based on a differential discharge current. The internal short circuit of the battery is thus detected at favorable precision in this battery inspection method, where the first stage discharge current is set to be larger than the second stage discharge current.
