PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching power supply capable of achieving stable output voltage and stable oscillation, even under a light load. SOLUTION: Based on the voltage of a capacitor C9 which decides off time of a switching element Q1 for generating voltage on the secondary side of a transformer 13 and the voltage applied to an overcurrent protection terminal OCP, this power supply determines whether or not a bottom determination circuit 55 is bottom, and if it is determined otherwise, switches charging voltage applied to the capacitor C9 to the high potential side.
