PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide portable equipment provided with a function capable of deleting the file, which is failed in down-loading and is down-loaded, by user operation with ease. SOLUTION: The controller 103 of a portable audio player 10 starts the display program (PDC) stored in an internal memory section 104 and deletes the file, which is failed in down-loading and is down-loaded, that is, executes a GUI process to make the temporarily directory(TMP) empty.
