PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speed up a bill stacking processing and also to orderly stack bills by being hardly affected by bills which are precedently stacked. SOLUTION: This bill stacking device which sequentially stacks bills P carried in an intermediate pool part in order is equipped with a lift blade 411 which stacks the bills P carried in the intermediate pool part, a belt conveyor 303 and a pickup roller which carry bills P in over the lift blade 411 in the intermediate pool part, one by one, and a bill stacking mechanism 308 which strikes the bills P carried in over the lift blade 411 down onto the lift blade 411 from above.
