PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely discharge the heat of a plasma display device and to minimize maintenance and repair work. SOLUTION: A device 1 for attaching and cooling a flat screen during an operation is composed of a housing 2 for housing the flat screen and a heat generation electric and electronic unit, and a heat bridge 8 for conducting at least the heat generated by the flat screen to the heat conductive back wall 4 of the housing 2. On the back wall 4, at least one profile 5 is provided in such a manner as forming a plurality of chimney-like cavities on the back surface of the housing 2. At least one opening for supplying cooling air into the respective cavities is provided on the lower ends and at least one outlet opening for discharging heated air to the atmosphere is provided on the upper ends of the respective cavities.
