PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key switch device which is easy to assemble, and to provide a manufacturing method of the same. SOLUTION: The key switch device comprises a pair of lever members 24, 25 of which, crossing parts are rotatably connected with each other, a key top 11 which moves like a seesaw while supported by the pair of lever members 24, 25, a switch part 30 performing switching operation according to the seesaw movement of the key top 1, and a lever mounting plate 15 engaging and supporting the pair of lever members 24, 25. An engaging supporting body part 17, pivotally and rotatably supporting the lower end part of one lever member 25, and a lower part slide supporting and engaging part 16, engaging and supporting the lower end part of the other lever member 24, are mounted to the lever mounting plate 15.
