PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk cartridge which is never mispositioned within a drive device. SOLUTION: Concening the disk cartridge provided with a shutter member 110 capable of opening and closing an opening 14 formed at least at the case 30 housing the disk-like disk medium 20 rotatably for accessing the disk medium and an operation member provided on the sidewall of the case 30 and abutting on a releasing member in the case of loading the disk cartridge to the drive device to open/close-operate the member 110, an engaging part 126 to engage with a regulation member provided at the drive device is formed on the other sidewall of the case 30 or on the front wall of a loading side of the drive device.
