PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk eccentricity correcting method and a disk eccentricity correcting device that can surely realize a servo-pulling-in by simplifying the disk start processing while suppressing the cost increase, also performing the eccentricity correction processing by a signal disk start processing, and fast and accurately performing a follow-up control even when the eccentricity quantity of a disk medium is large and the number of rotation is large. SOLUTION: A position error signal 1310 of a recording track to an optical pickup 1303 is observed from the rotating disk medium 1301 mounted on a rotation driving device 1302 before servo-pulling-in, and eccentricity correction quantity is adjusted so as to make small the amplitude of an envelope waveform after the band is limited by an LPF 1304.
