PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate unloading, and to enable an instantaneous stable floating by recovering a normal floating amount even when a flow-in pad inlet end is brought into contact with a medium surface during unloading, in a magnetic head slider of a load/unload system and its support. SOLUTION: A flow-in pad 11 having a contact surface to be brought into contact with a disk surface when a magnetic disk is stopped, and a flow-out pad 13 are respectively provided in the air inlet and outlet ends of a surface opposite to the magnetic disk, a strip auxiliary pad 12 having a contact surface to be brought into contact with the disk surface when the magnetic disk is stopped is provided while having a gap between it and the flow-in pad 11 on the both outsides in the slider width direction of the flow-in pad 11, and the flow-in side tip of the contact surface of the auxiliary pad 12 is set in a position nearer to the inlet tip of the slider than to the inlet tip of the contact surface of the auxiliary pad 12.
