PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deterioration of picture quality since a defect in a pixel is viewed. SOLUTION: Light transmitted through the respective pixels of a liquid crystal panel is separated into two and a picture is displayed by separated light beams. Two pixel images are formed in a mutually shifted state on one pixel as shown as codes 1A and 1B in a drawing (b). The defect 10 in the pixel, which is displayed in a drawing (a), is displayed into two as shown as codes 10A and 10B in the drawing (b). The defects 10A and 10B in the pixel are blurred and viewed. Thus, the deterioration of picture quality can be prevented. |
