<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a breaker with improved reliability of breaker function and with enhanced safety of electric installations. SOLUTION: The breaker, designed to maintain cutoff status of a main contact by moving an actuating piece 5 with excitation of an electromagnetic device, is equipped with a plurality of electromagnetic devices, solenoids 2, 3 for example, plungers 2a, 3a of which are set side by side in order that the plungers 2a, 3a may move a backing plate 5a of the actuating piece 5 to the same direction. In addition, the electric circuits of the electromagnetic devices 2, 3 are interconnected in parallel.</p> |
