PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording current switching device which enables to set a voice signal level of a right-side channel to the same level of a left-side channel at the time of reproduction even in a five-fold speed mode of the voice signal, in the same manner as in a standard mode or triple speed mode. SOLUTION: A ratio of a recording current of the voice signal of the right- side channel to that of the left-side channel is switched in a standard or triple speed mode and in a five-fold speed mode.
