Device comprises a measurement head (1) with four symmetric resistance gauges (4-7) arranged around the inverse peak of a pyramid and forming two branches of a Wheatstone bridge with outputs and mid-points (M4-M7). Within the pyramid is a liquid (8) conductor of which the secant plane has the role of a moving cursor (12) which determines the four operational measurement values. The values (25, 26) are amplified and converted into binary data before being combined in a decoder-demultiplexer and finally used to indicate the inclination of the slope.
