The packaging comprises an upper panel (3), a lid (4) able to tip rearward by means of a hinge (42) and a container (5) for the cosmetic product. The upper panel comprises a central removable part (30) fixed to a peripheral part by means of a first weakened line. The central part is fixed to the lid so that opening of the lid leads to rupture of the weakened line. The central part of the upper panel has a lower surface coated with a reflecting layer (300) so that during opening of the lid this surface forms a mirror.
