PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small wind turbine generator having a simple structure and small number of components. SOLUTION: The wind turbine generator comprises a switch 14 for selectively switching power supply from a generator 4 between a power supply system 6 and a resistor 13, and when a rotor 1 is required to be stopped due to an unexpected accident, power supply is switched to the resistor 13 side and short- circuited thus loading a brake force to the rotor 1 via the generator 4. |
