PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording medium recorder with which contents can be recorded in an RTR mode, and DVD contents whose copy in a DVD compatibility mode is prohibited can not be recorded but video contents whose copy is not prohibited can be recorded at least one time. SOLUTION: In an optical disk D, a first lead-in information area LI1 provided corresponding to the RTR mode and a second lead-in information area LI2 which is an area provided corresponding to the DVD compatibility mode and has a prepit area PR and a recording area R are formed in a lead-in area LI, and a data area DA is formed to record the contents. The information recording medium recorder has a means to create information recorded on the recording area R of the optical disk D as correction block information in an error correction block unit different from a predetermined error correction block unit and a means to record the correction block information on the recording area R. |
