PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging system and an imaging device that can reduce the waiting time until a job is finished, to be shorter. SOLUTION: In the case of starting tandem copying and that a slave unit is busy, the slave unit reads a series of image data as a reserved job and stores the data to its HDD. A control section of the master unit divides a job, on the basis of a series of read image data into two and decides the job assigned to the master unit and the slave unit. After the reading of the image is finished, the master unit immediately executes the job assigned to itself, while after completing the preceding job, the slave unit executes the job assigned thereto (Figure 5 (b)). |
