PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital still camera in which a large aperture can be realized at a low cost without using a large solid state image sensor and high speed processing can be ensured. SOLUTION: The digital still camera comprises a photographing optical system 10, an optical path separating means 20, first through third image sensors 30, 40 and 50, and an image processing means (not shown). The photographing optical system 10 is arranged to pass the light from an object, i.e., the photographing light, and forming the object image on the first through third image sensors 30, 40 and 50. The optical path separating means 20 is arranged to lead the light from the photographing optical system 10 to first through third image sensors 30A, 30B and 30C while splitting into first through third optical paths. |
