PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the charge for using map data low by allowing a user to use only the area including useful information for the user and to enable a map data provider to expand the area in which the map data is used. SOLUTION: The navigation device is provided with a storage means (3) storing map data, a setting means for setting a part of map data as an open area, an output means for outputting guide information, and a control means (1) for controlling the guide information based on the map data of the open area and the guide information based on the map data of the area other than the open area to be differently outputted. |
