摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging system capable of realizing the stabilization of an engine rotation and a reduction in fuel cost, and to provide a power generation controller for a vehicle. SOLUTION: The charging system comprises the power generation controller 1 for the vehicle, a generator 2 for the vehicle, a battery 3, an ECU 80 and the like. The ECU 80 transmits a pulse signal set to a predetermined duty ratio directed toward the controller 1 for the vehicle. The controller 1 generates a reference voltage in response to a duty ratio of the received signal, and controls the output voltage of the generator 2 so that the battery voltage coincides with this reference voltage. This reference voltage is set so as to become substantially constant near upper and lower limits of the duty ratio of the pulse signal, and set so as to become a substantially linear in relation to the duty ratio therebetween. When the duty ratio of this pulse signal falls within a predetermined range, load response control is executed, and in the case other than the above, the load response control is not conducted.</p>
