<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately decide that a receiving interval of communication data becomes abnormal and that the receiving interval returns to a normal state without increasing processing load in an electronic controller that receives the communication data that are supposed to be transmitted from the opposite communication equipment every fixed period. SOLUTION: In a reception interrupt routine that is started each time an SCI(serial communication interface) in a microcomputer receives the communication data, a decision is made by distinguishing whether first type abnormality that the receiving interval is longer than a normal range occurs and whether second type abnormality that the receiving interval is shorter than the normal range occurs (S160), and the start of the reception interrupt routine is inhibited only when the occurrence of the second type abnormality is detected (S260). Afterwards, in a regular routine where a start cycle is set to a value in the normal range, when it is decided that the SCI receives the communication data only one time from the previous start of the routine to the start of the routine of this time, the reception interrupt routine is allowed to be started by considering that the receiving interval returns to a normal state.</p> |
