PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insertion type connection terminal capable of easily releasing locking of an inserted planar terminal and a contact by a push operation from the outside and thereby extracting the planar terminal without applying force. SOLUTION: In this formed structure, a bottom plate 21 of the contact 2 is held in a state of an intermediate part except both side parts of front and rear directions is slightly lifted from a bottom surface of a cylindrical cover 1. The bottom plate 21 is provided with a claw piece 23 to be engaged and locked into an engagement hole 43 of the planar terminal 4 inserted on the bottom plate 21. A bent rising piece 24 is provided from the bottom plate 21 to a position adjacent to an upper wall of the cylindrical cover 1. A push marker 13 is formed on an upper surface of the cylindrical cover 1 adjacent to the rising piece 24. By pressing the push marker 13, the bottom plate 21 is pushed down together with the rising piece 24 to release locking of the claw piece 23 and the engagement hole 43.
