PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording medium recording method by which the continuous reproduction of already recorded information and additional information which is additionally recorded thereafter is facilitated, when the new data are additionally recorded on a recording area. SOLUTION: When a piece of information is recorded for each error correction block unit, linking position information for indicating a position to record one piece of information while dividing it into a plurality of pieces is recorded on a specified position in the error correction block of the information recording medium. Each error correction block is composed of the prescribed number of sectors, each sector is composed of the prescribed number of sync frames, and the linking positional information is recorded on the data area near the head position of the specified sync frame in the specified sector.
