An emulsion polish comprises a non-volatile silicone fluid a liquid polyether siloxane and a surfactant. The silicone fluid has a viscosity of not more than 200 centistokes at 25oC. The polyether siloxane is immiscible with either water or the silicone fluid and has a specific gravity which is less than that of the silicone fluid. The surfactant stabilizes the emulsion. An emulsion polish comprises a non-volatile silicone fluid, a liquid polyether siloxane and a surfactant wherein the polish is in the form of an oil-in-water emulsion. The polyether siloxane is immiscible with either water of the silicone fluid and has a specific gravity less than that of the silicone fluid and the amount of polyether siloxane is in the range of 0.25% to 2% by weight based on total weight of the polish. The polish may further comprises the non-volatile fluid being in the range of 0.5% to 20% by weight based on total weight of the polish.
