PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storing structure for an information storage medium capable of thinning and miniaturizing electronic equipment. SOLUTION: A card insertion port 18 to insert an IC card 110 is formed on the rear cover 12 side of a digital camera 10. A recessed part 22 communicated with the card insertion port 18 is provided on an inner wall surface 12B of the rear cover 12. A substrate 30 within a camera main body is arranged so as to face to a bottom wall surface 22A of the recessed part 22 and a cover plate 32 of a U-shape in cross section is provided between the substrate 30 and the recessed part 22. An electrode terminal 34 provided on the substrate 30 is connected to a pattern 36 to insert a contactor part into a rectangular hole 46 of the cover plate 32 and to project the contactor part within the recessed part 22. As a result, the IC card 110 inserted from the card insertion port 18 is stored into the recessed part 22 and an electrode terminal 138 is brought into contact with the electrode terminal 34. Therefore, a connector for storing the IC card 110 becomes unnecessary and the digital camera 10 can be thinly constituted. |
