PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for reservation which are suitable to both a facility provider and users by improving the operation rate and convenience of the facilities. SOLUTION: This method has a step where a desire for a reservation wherein a range covering a plurality of reservation units is specified is accepted and the reservation units in the specified reservation range are allocated as a temporary reservation range to a reservation table, a step wherein the temporary reservation range having been allocated is reallocated to other reservation units for a new reservation desire including reservation units overlapping with the temporary reservation range having been allocated and a temporary reservation range regarding the new reservation desire is newly allocated to the reservation table, and a step wherein temporary reservation ranges regarding one or more reservation desires having been allocated are determined as determined reservations within a determination period and reported to the reservation wishers.
