PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To actualize an effective point system for various styles by using serial numbers given by merchandise, service, etc. SOLUTION: A server system accessed from a user terminal connected to a computer network is equipped with a user information database which stores user information including personal information and point information on users and a point information database which stores point information set by the merchandises and services. The serial numbers given by the merchandises, services, etc., are inputted and the inputted and transmitted serial numbers are received to authenticate the user and analyze the serial numbers; and points corresponding to the merchandises, services, etc., are added to the point information in the user information database to enable shopping using points. |
