摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain musically excellent effects by eliminating monotony in a device, which varies and controls characteristics of musical tone signals on the whole according to a playing state. SOLUTION: Through playing operation on a keyboard 10, a musical tone signal generating circuit 20 generates a plurality of musical tone signals on a time-division basis and outputs them. An effect circuit 32 gives various effects to those musical tone signals at the same time. A highest key detecting circuit 4, an earliest key detecting circuit 42, and a largest key touch detecting circuit 43 detects the highest key, earliest key, and largest key touch among keys which are being pressed. A channel detecting circuit 46 and a control signal waveform extracting circuit 47 extract an amplitude envelope waveform signal used for characteristic control over specific musical tone signals corresponding to the detected keys. A control signal generator 48 outputs the variation control signal corresponding to the extracted envelope waveform signal to the effect circuit 32, which varies and controls the imparting state of the musical effects.
