PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator supervisory system, in which a communication success rate when a PHS is used for an elevator supervisory channel can be improved. SOLUTION: In the elevator supervisory system that is provided with a PHS 10 that is connected to an elevator supervisory device 4, retrieves a radio wave from a relay antenna 3 or a public base station 2 so as to be in a waiting state synchronously with the retrieved radio wave and communicates with a center unit 5 via a PHS public line network 6 and that transmits supervisory information from the elevator supervisory device 4 to the center unit 5, the PHS 10 always retrieves the radio wave from the relay antenna 3 with priority and is in a waiting state synchronously with the retrieved radio wave from the relay antenna 3, retrieves the radio wave from the public base station 2 when the PHS 10 does not retrieve the radio wave from the relay antenna and is in a waiting state synchronously with the retrieved radio wave from the public base station.
