Magazine safety catch comprises a magazine having magazine lips and a pivoting lever (2) held in a restraining manner by a spring (1) in the path of a rod (5) coupled to a trigger (6). The pivoting lever is arranged in a recess in the butt next to the magazine and is positioned in the middle so that it pivots about a transverse pin and engages with its rear end (3) in the safety position in front of a protrusion (4) of the rod so that it cannot move forward. Preferred Features: The pivoting lever is a flat part with a curved front end (9) so that it lies in front of the magazine and extends upward and backward at the upper end. |
