PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost organic EL display element and its manufacturing method by eliminating to the utmost the influence of moisture, oxygen, and the like in the atmosphere, and improving productivity without causing the film defect of the organic EL display element with little aging degradation. SOLUTION: Covering and sealing are carried out with a glass plate 6 arranged on the plastic base material face of a laminated body formed by laminating at least a first electrode layer 2, an organic electroluminescence layer 11 and a second electrode layer 5 on a plastic base material 1, and a moisture-proof film 8 arranged at the second electrode layer face. It is preferable to simultaneously carry out covering and sealing with the glass plate and the moisture-proof film. |
