PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To positively fill a desired quantity of a moisture absorbent and easily and rapidly carry out moisture absorbent filling work without taking time. SOLUTION: The moisture absorbent 13 is embedded in a sheet-like support body 15 by centrifugal force. A gas permeable sheet 17 is stuck to one side of the sheet-like support body 15 through a pressure sensitive adhesive layer 16, and a protective sheet 19 is stuck to the other side through a pressure sensitive adhesive layer 18. A moisture absorption sheet 7 is thus manufactured in advance. In manufacturing the organic EL display device 1, the protective sheet 19 is separated from the moisture absorption sheet 7, and the pressure sensitive adhesive layer 18 is placed to abut on an opposed face 6a in a sealing cap 6 to stick the moisture absorption sheet 7 to the opposed face 6a. The sealing cap 6 is then placed on a transparent insulating board 2 on which a positive electrode layer 3, an organic EL laminated body 4 and a negative electrode layer 5 are laminated, to abut on the transparent insulating board 2 through an ultraviolet ray hardened type sealing resin 12, and ultraviolet rays are applied to complete the organic EL display device. |
