PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize fine disclosure of a document according to a browser or a creator of the document in an in-office document reading system or a WWW document browsing system. SOLUTION: In this system, a document browsing server has a means 311 acquiring information (registrant information) of a belonging organization or the like of a registrant, and a means 312 storing the registrant information in connection with a registration document. A document browsing part 320 has a means 321 acquiring information (reader information) of a belonging organization or the like of the browser; and means 322, 323 collating the browser information with the registrant information of a browsing target document, and disclosing the browsing target document as it is or disclosing a document wherein information about privacy in the document is converted into a series of x's.
