PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voltage regulator capable of heightening responsiveness in accordance with the load condition or suppressing the consumed current without increasing chip area. SOLUTION: In a normal operating mode, a first operational amplifier 4 is operated, and a constitution with excellent quick responsiveness is established, comprising three stages of amplification of a differential amplifier circuit part 21, an amplifier circuit part 22, and an output circuit part 6, while in the low consumed current operating mode, operation of the first operational amplifier 4 is stopped and a second operational amplifier 5 is solely allowed to operate, and a constitution to work with a low consumed current is established, comprising two stages of amplification of a differential amplifier circuit part 27 and the output circuit part 6. |
