<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recycle as a glass material, the front substrate and the back substrate that are obtained by separating the plasma display panel, which is produced as defective parts during processes or collected, after being used as products, without scrapping them as a waste matter. SOLUTION: A cutter 4 is inserted into the sealing material 3 between the front substrate 1 and the back substrate 2, and while vibration is given to the cutter 4 by the vibration driving device 5, the cutter 4 is moved forward by the feed driving device 6, by cutting along the applied region of the sealing material 3, so that the front substrate 1 and the back substrate 2 are separated.</p> |
