PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method for manufacturing a multilayer substrate in which positioning can be performed easily with high precision by use of visual lights. SOLUTION: Holes e1 to e4 which are drilled larger than first marks a1 to a4 are provided opposite to a sheet-like substrate P1 provided with the first marks a1 to a4. In a state that a sheet-like substrate P2 provided with second marks b1 to b4 away from the holes e1 to e4 at predetermined distances is positioned at the first marks a1 to a4, visual lights are applied to the first and second marks a1 to a4 and b1 to b4 from a light source 66, while the first and second marks a1 to a4 and b1 to b4 are imaged by a camera 66. After that, the first and second marks a1 to a4 and b1 to b4 are subjected to an imaging process based on the image pickup information by a calculation means to acquire positions of the first and second marks a1 to a4 and b1 to b4.
