PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a settlement method and system capable of securely collecting payment without using a collection and delivery agent. SOLUTION: This settlement method comprises a step (a) for receiving session ID and a succession bid key generated based on a merchandise buying and selling contract establishment between an exhibitor and a successful bidder, a step (b) for generating an account for merchandise purchase price amount for paying the merchandise purchase price, a step (c) for transferring the merchandise purchase price amount from the account of the successful bidder to the account for the merchandise purchase price based on the input of the session ID and the successful bid key by the successful bidder, a step (d) for allowing the successful bidder to input the session ID and the bid key, and to confirm the reception of the merchandise, and a step (e) for transferring the merchandise purchase price amount from the account for the merchandise purchase price amount to the account of the exhibitor based on the confirmation of the reception of the merchandise by the successful bidder, and the input of the session ID and the successful bid key by the exhibitor. |
