STRUCTURE FOR STORING EXTRA LENGTH OF OPTICAL CABLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extra length storing section of optical cable even in a small case. SOLUTION: A heat sink 12 is provided to radiate heat generated from an poetical circuit board placed on an extra length storing section 11 and to conduct heat to a lower case 2. The extra length storing section 11 for storing multicore optical fibers 4a constituting the extra length part of an optical cable 4 bent into a ring is provided in the peripheral space of the heat sink 12. Since the useless peripheral space of the heat sink 12 can be utilized effectively, the case can be reduced in size.
