SOLUTION: When photographing is performed with a date imprinting mode designated, an object image before overlapping the date, etc., and an overlapped image after overlapping the date, etc., are recorded to reproducibly record the object image and the overlapped image. Later, when an instruction of overprinting the date, etc., on the overlapped image with the overlapped date, etc., by DPOF(Digital Print Order Format), etc., is set, the instruction of overprinting is set for the object image of the original image of the overlapped image. Alternatively, the instruction of overlapped recording of the date, etc., is set for the overlapped image, and overlapped recording is performed on the object image which is the original image of the overlapped image. Thus, the redundant overprinting or overlapped recording of the date, etc., can be prevented. |
