PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling heat radiation of an addressing electrode driving pellet without sacrificing picture quality by reducing a switching loss of the driving pallet, and decreasing power consumption of a plasma display panel. SOLUTION: The addressing electrode driving pellets 121 generate application voltage (Va) or zero voltage by driving a plurality of the addressing electrode driving pallets 121 by using an application voltage pulse circuit 2, and controlling the application voltage pulse circuit 2 and a switching sequence of the switches of the addressing electrode driving pellets 121 The driving pellets 121 can effectively be prevented from accumulating a large amount of heat generated by the switching losses of the switches, by completely imputing the switching losses caused by performing switching operation of each switch of the driving pellets 121 to the switches of the application voltage pulse circuit 2 at the time of outputting to the addressing electrodes.
