PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the function of an already provided video intercom system. SOLUTION: In the video intercom system provided with an indoor master unit 10 connected to an entrance slave unit 2 with a camera and indoor slave units 3a and 3b with a monitor, the indoor master unit 10 connected to a monitoring camera 5 and call input equipment 4 is provided with a call function and the function of, when a call from the call input equipment 4 is terminated to the indoor master unit 10, adding information defining that it is a terminating call from the entrance slave unit 2 with the camera to the call in an entrance slave unit link setting means 13 and transmitting it to the indoor slave units 3a and 3b with the monitor not provided with the call function. The indoor slave units 3a and 3b with the monitor receive the call to which the information is added as a signal from the entrance slave unit 2 with the camera and display video signals from the monitoring camera 5 on their own monitors.
