PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide small, light and inexpensive construction for lessening the non-uniformity of the temperature distribution of a passing gas. SOLUTION: A plurality of heat transfer pipe elements 17 are stacked in a state where outer fins are held between the adjacent heat transfer pipes 17 to constitute a core portion. A passage 24 provided in each of the heat transfer pipes 17 is constituted by a wider passage 31 provided at the upstream side in a gas passing direction α and a narrower passage group 33 consisting of a plurality if narrower passages 32 narrower than the wider passage 31, provided at the downstream side. During usage, a cooling liquid flows in each of the heat transfer pipes 17 in the β direction perpendicular to the gas passing direction α. |
