PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell having an excellent power generating efficiency in which a proton conductive gel is used as electrolyte and also offer a manufacturing method for such fuel cells. SOLUTION: The side faces of the peripheral edges of a laminate 2 and the surfaces of channel plates 15 and 16 are coated with (or filled with) a seal member 20 consisting of proton conductive gel, and thereby a gas leak is prevented. |
